Dear Mr. Provencher:
I am writing to express my gratitude and job well done on Carey’s recently completed Metropolitan Transit Police Department Training Facility in Springfield, Virginia. The Careys team’s expertise, attention to detail, and willingness to work as part of a flexible team made this difficult project a success, particularly as the Client is extremely satisfied with the product. I wish you best of luck in your future endeavors and hope that you will continue to propose to Clark Construction Group in the future.

I purchased ventilation system from Carey's in Summer of 2013 to be installed early spring of 2014. My Architect & myself build my building to spec's working along side Carey's. It was a pleasure to work with people who did everything they could to assure us that all would fit & guided us thru the process of installing our unit. Each time something didn't fit or seem to go together like it should Carey's was always there to guide us & fix the problem. We had made plans for each phrase of our installation at certain times. There delivery of equipment & install personnel was always on time & very helpful. I am 100% satisfied with my product & their support of us even to this day.
I cannot say this about all my vendors at all. Very knowledgeable & professional employees at Carey's. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime. I feel their service is second to none. If someone wants a unit & service that can't be beat then Carey's is your Vendor. Call me at 662-234-5945 anytime & ask for Donny Guest if you have any questions at all.
Sincerely,
Donny Guest, Owner & CEO

Thank you very much for your help in resolving the issue. I cannot say enough good things about Jim, he definitely knows his stuff and I wish there were more professionals like him in this world. Let him know that we still think he was just messing with us and has some sort of a magic remote control in his pocket.

I would like to express my gratitude for the service Carey’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. (Carey’s) provided regarding the Indoor Range project at Tiverton Rod and Gun Club (TRGC). Carey’s consistently provided professional service while maintaining a personal touch with our organization. Carey’s has an excellent reputation in the HVAC community and this project has served to reinforce that fact.
Range renovation projects are certainly challenging for non-profit, sportsmen’s clubs due to their magnitude and cost. Carey’s made the process of planning and installation of the TRGC Indoor Range ventilation system virtually seamless. The Carey’s staff handled our project with ease and delivered an unparalleled product. As the project manager, it was refreshing to work a group of individuals that take pride in their work while maintaining a focus on customer service.
I would like to personally thank Kristopher Williams, Tim Grinter, and Mike O’Connor for their superior performance during the TRGC project.
Please pass on my appreciation to your staff.
Sincerely,
John Means, President

I would like to advise anyone considering an indoor range to look very strongly at the Carey's ventilation system. In regards to the ventilation system designed by Carey's, there is nothing on the market like it. We went from an indoor range with virtually ZERO ventilation to the Carey's system, and it's a difference of night and day! In our old range, we were limited in the number of shotgun shells we could fire because our old system couldn't clear out the smoke. I once fired four rounds in succession, causing the building's fire alarm to activate. Needless to say, the Chief and others in the department weren't very happy!
During the planning stages of the new range, I met with Carey's several times. They assured me that this system was like no other, and that I would be impressed. I then started construction phase, and the equipment started being delivered. The exhaust fan arrived, and everyone wanted to know what the JET engine was for! (I wondered about this myself.) The installation of the duct work began, and it was like nothing anyone around here had ever seen. Our Plant Management people came by every day, waiting for the startup, to see just how this contraption was going to work.
Then, Carey's showed up with this big gray box, and a lot of electronics. (Great!...Electronics!) They explained what they were doing with the control system, and how the ventilation system functioned, and finally, it began to make sense.
At last, startup time arrived. The start key was turned, and after a built in delay, the exhaust unit and supply unit started, and we were moving more air than you could imagine. I was told that without the diffuser system over the supply vents, you couldn't wear a ball cap backwards without blowing it off. Let me tell you, I'm a believer!....I was standing there, feeling the amount of air being sucked into the range through an open door. Thinking I would help out with getting a negative pressure going, I started to close the range door. Carey's technicians stopped me in a hurry. The pressures were not set and balanced yet, and I was advised that the system might have sucked out the 8x4 foot sheet of bulletproof glass from the Rangemaster's control room viewing window, as well as the window in the door.
After all the adjustments were made, we closed the door and were ready for business. Carey's technician lit off a smoke bomb, and held it close to his face. You could see the smoke roll down the range without coming back to his face at all. This was repeated from every position on the range.
Finally, the moment of truth arrived, and I took the first shot. I thought I did something wrong when all the construction dust fell, but in less than 30 seconds the range was clear. In the past, you had to blow the lead dust out of your nose after shooting, but now there are no signs of lead dust. All of the exhaust air is pulled through pre-filters and HEPA filters, and then exhausted to our underground parking garage, where it is pumped out through exhaust vents. There were complaints from people that this "contaminated" air was being put into a closed area. I had the air tested. The air we are pumping out of the range is cleaner than any other area in the garage, and cleaner than the air outside the garage.
The greatest thing is the support. The system comes with a modem in it. If there are any problems, I call Carey's technicians, they dial into the system to troubleshoot and repair the problem, and we are right back in business.
I would invite anyone to show me a better ventilation system for an indoor range. I would also like to tell you that this is not a paid endorsement. This is the truth, and if you want to see it in action, come and see us. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me.

Thank you for the excellent ventilation system for our indoor gun range. The entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism, and was the easiest of the many daunting tasks to overcome in the process of constructing an indoor gun range. Your staff of professionals are not only outstanding craftsmen and designers, but the best communicators in ANY construction industry I have ever experienced. Everyone on your staff is accessible, immediately responsive, and seem to ALWAYS have the right answers. I do not recall any instance where someone had to "get back to me" with a solution to my problem.
We used our own HVAC mechanic and electrician to assemble and install most of the system. Both are seasoned veterans in their field, but neither had ever tackled anything like this project. Once complete, they were not only satisfied with the results, but downright gratified by the experience. Few projects ever go this smoothly when dealing with contractors who are handling a project for the first time, with other contractors who are located out of town, and with a system that literally has to be built from the ground up.
The commercial indoor gun range is evolving. Much education of the public is required to bring them into the 21st century regarding lead exposure. Your system is the centerpiece to that education program. We proudly explain to our customers that finally, a safe, lead free facility is available to them, and the response has been phenomenal, as evidenced by the many young shooters and families taking part in this activity.
We have been operating 7 days per week, 10 hours per day for the past year, with literally no systems issues. I have never had this level of service from any other company, period. Thank you, we look forward to many more years of successful communication with your company.

In building our first indoor gunrange, we were very pleased to have chosen Carey’s. Carey’s not only provided a quality range ventilation system, but helped us every step of the way, and even redesigned to fit our building changes when we had unexpected engineering challenges at our facility.
I recall Carey’s being always available for my phone calls the many times we needed help and had last minute questions. The computer interface is very informative regarding the air system operation and allows us to carefully keep a maintenance program in place. In addition to the air handling, they also coordinated with our range backstop company, so the two would work/fit in unison. I cant imagine going with any other company for small arms ventilation.
